WHO WE ARE:
CRYOUTAfrica is an outreach mission work in Africa under the leadership of Pastor Bola Olu-Jordan, the Pastor and Director of Ministries for Africa of the Word of Faith Ministries International, Miami, FL. It was registered under the companies and allied matters decree act of 1990 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a non-profit organization
THE VISION
CRYOUT was birthed through the vision to reach out to the WEARY HEARTS with Revival, Renewal, Restoration and also Rebirth to LOST SOULS, especially in African Prisons and Hinter Lands (villages and suburbs), millions of whom have never heard the Gospel before, wallowing in abject poverty of the spirit, soul and body, lost to paganism and fetish practices.
Our major means of reaching out to our target audience in villages and prisons in Africa is through medical outreaches by our team of medical, paramedical, counselor volunteers who donate their time and professionalism to minister to these people.
OUR MISSION
Every quarter, CRYOUTAfrica team formally visit the state prisons with food items, clothings, books, bibles, materials and medications such as Anti-Malaria, Analgesic, First Aid Treatment Materials, Skin Infection Cream, Antibiotics, Blood Tonic, Antiseptics, Fumigation / Disinfectants, Toiletries: Soaps, etc to treat the inmates many of who live in apologetic and dilapidated conditions and die of preventable diseases. It is appalling that some are in prison as ‘awaiting trials’ for more than 15 years, many more are there for offenses which is ‘bailable’ with less than $10.00 but unaffordable, hence spend 3 years behind bars!
TESTIMONIALS
Among many of the inmates we have been able to secure their release in the past few years was a son of an Islamic cleric sentenced to death by hanging, but through actions of CRYOUTAfrica legal volunteers and prayers, he was given state pardon by the State Government. At the October 2009 CRYOUTAfrica Convention, 2 more inmates were released to our team. They had spent thirteen months and two and half years behind bars for a bail $6.00 which was unaffordable and wandering offense respectively.
Our village mission brings elementary education free to children of muslim women in purdah in Islamic and witchcraft dominated communities. Also to widows, many of whom were forced to do barbaric and fettish practices at the loss of their husband (like drinking the water used to wash the corpse of their husband or sleeping on his graveyard for days, naked to prove innocence of death). We believe the gospel is not only in word but in power (action)
Our Magazine, CRYOUT which is the publication arm of the mission outreach currently reaches almost 3 million souls in more than 11 nations of Africa and it’s currently been translated into Russian and French languages. It’s a prophetic voice to the church to bring revival, renewal, rebirth and restoration. It is the largest free circulating Christian Magazine in Africa and the subscription is free for all, supported and made possible entirely by donations and free will offerings of partners.
CONVENTION
At the just concluded 2009 CRYOUTAfrica Convention, our medical prison outreach was able to give among other things, 900 plates of rice-meal to the inmates of the Oyo State Prison, Agodi, Ibadan on the 9th of October, 2009 where crusade was held with over 700inmates of the prison who turned out at the prison chapel enmasse. That was the best decent food many of the inmates would eat in a long time. About 121 inmates were treated by our medical volunteers on various health issues, including malaria, typhoid and other sicknesses. 200 Old and New Testament Bibles as well as other literatures were distributed to inmates that needed them. Clothings, brooms, tooth paste, tooth brushes, towel, soaps, etc were also distributed. Dr. Philip Carter of New Covenant Community Church in BelAir, MD who was one of the guests to the 2009 CRYOUTAfrica Convention ministered to the inmates with words of comfort and encouragement in an emotional laden service. Praise God for souls who gave their lives to Christ. We need to do follow up
The guests at the 2009 CRYOUTAfrica Convention were Dr. Philip Carter, Dr, Michael Omotoso, Dr. Larry Miller, Evang. Joseph Beckhardt and Bishop Cliff Ramsunder, who came all the way from Maryland, USA to identify, pray, support and see the great move of God in Africa through our little effort.
